Pretty Little Liars - "What Becomes of the Broken-Hearted" (3x19)
Jason and Emily find out that CeCe may in fact know more than she is telling Emily, and that Ali took a picture with Wilden and CeCe on a boat. Jason tells Emily that he remembers Melissa and CeCe talking outside his house the night that Ali went missing. We see in the flashback that CeCe and Alison were wearing identical outfits that night, but once Jason sees them they disappear, and a very drunk Jason passes out on a lawn chair.
I found an old MTV intervew where Marlene was asked about this flashback/scene:
MTV: There's also that scene where Jason recalls having seen CeCe in that yellow tank top, talking to Melissa, the night Ali went missing. Did he maybe see Bethany instead?
King: Most likely, he was seeing Bethany, but the show might explain one tiny bit of that story, so we'll just keep it a mystery for now. But, we believe CeCe when she says, "He was seeing nobody or he was seeing Bethany, but it wasn’t me." She is telling the truth.
So Marlene kinda confirms Jason was seeing Melissa talking to Bethany and that the show might explain some of that story.. and they didn’t, so it confirms Jason did see Melissa talking to someone (Bethany), they just dropped it and never explained it 💀
