One person asks production to invite another person on set to “make an important statement.”
Before entering the set, the guest has no idea why they are invited, or who wants to speak to them. At this moment, the two people (the anonymous inviter and the guest) are separated by a curtain and can only see each other through two television screens. This allows the guest to know the person who wanted to meet them.
A discussion then begins between the two people. The inviter explains what he had to say to the guest: this may concern a family reunion, a declaration of love, a reunion with childhood friends, etc.
The guest, a few minutes later, decides whether or not he wants to meet the inviter in real life. If he refuses, the curtain remains closed and the two people return without meeting; if he accepts, the curtain opens.
