Ashab-e-Feel (The People of the Elephant) 🐘
Ashab-e-Feel refers to the army of Abraha, the ruler of Yemen, who marched towards Makkah with a huge army—including mighty elephants—to destroy the Holy Kaaba 🕋 Abraha built a grand church in Yemen and wanted to divert people’s pilgrimage from the Kaaba. When this failed, he decided to demolish it. However, Allah Almighty showed His supreme power and sent flocks of small birds called Abābīl 🕊️, each carrying tiny stones of baked clay. These stones struck the soldiers and elephants, destroying Abraha’s army completely. 💥
