McKenzie starts his day at home with his lovely wife, outside of Roger’s shadow at NewStream. Surprisingly, everyone loves McKenzie, and he and his wife have a remarkable love. When he arrives at his office, he finds he has a new assistant, Stevie. McKenzie has Claire’s old job. Roger Dane is approached by a mysterious woman, Liz Carlisle, obviously wealthier and more powerful than Roger. She wants to buy NEFU from Roger. When she finds out that Roger no longer owns NEFU, she exits. Roger is infuriated that the series has value and tasks McKenzie with starting a new mountain biking show for NewStream.
