SpaceX Races Toward Double Starship V3 ONE Time in 2026... That transformation is now in full swing at Starbase. The launch vehicle itself is the most visible sign of this evolution, but significant changes are also taking place at the launch pad. Launch Pad 1 is undergoing major upgrades and redesigns, as the old configuration can no longer meet the demands of the new generation of Starship. These improvements mark a bold step forward for SpaceX and promise an exciting return to flight next year, or perhaps even sooner than expected. So, how exactly is SpaceX upgrading Launch Pad 1? Let’s find out in today’s episode of Great SpaceX. Starbase Down, Florida Up! SpaceX Races Toward Double Starship V3 ONE Time in 2026... We are slowly witnessing the final phase of the old Pad-1 design, with most recent activity centered on the Orbital Launch Mount. Over the past several weeks, teams have removed the BQD hood, the BQD system, the OLM shield, and later the clamps and internal components, cutting them away piece by piece. Each removal has revealed new details inside the structure that many of us have never seen before. The latest progress marks the most dramatic stage yet. The OLM table ring, which connected all four legs, has now been cut through, leaving the legs fully separated. It remains unclear whether Spa ceX will bring them down by removing the bases or dismantling them section by section. In any case, these changes represent one step in SpaceX’s wider effort to upgrade Pad-1. Starbase Down, Florida Up! SpaceX Races Toward Double Starship V3 ONE Time in 2026... We have shared countless memories with the original design of Launch Pad 1. From the iconic six-legged Orbital Launch Mount to the inverted water deluge system and, of course, the massive Chopsticks arms, each component has played a crucial role in SpaceX’s Starship journey. Over the course of eleven official launches and many smaller tests, this pad has stood as a witness to the evolution of Starship—from its earliest prototypes to its most recent successes. It has been a symbol of innovation, resilience, and relentless progress. ---- We use images and content in accordance with the YouTube Fair Use copyright guidelines: https://www.youtube.com/intl/en/about/copyright/fair-use/ Any questions about copyright please send us via Gmail: colonbina25@gmail.com To be resolved, thank you.
