We then see Emily walking with Damian where he asks why she came back to Rosewood. She says that her mom was lonely, so she thought it would be a good idea to stay close. He asks if she wants to get a cup a coffee with him, and she agrees but soon gets a text from Hanna saying "Damian's a reporter. He's playing you. Did the same with Spencer and Melissa. Lose him". Damian walks back out and asks her how she takes her coffee; after a minute, she tells him to skip coffee and they'll have dinner instead. He says that's even better and they leave.
