This is the story 5-time nominated and 2-time award-winning short film about Amancha Coon, a 20 something girl addicted to crystal meth. She tells the story of her journey in addiction to rehab, relapse, rehab, and relapse again. In this documentary, she faces her demons head on just one week before she enters her last attempt at getting clean.
Along with the documentary, there is a book chronicling the year-long battle filmmaker LD Rowe had trying to film this documentary as well as more stunning details into Amancha's story. In the documentary, you see how Amancha remembers her life as an addict and in the book, you can read how her life actually as an addict unfolded in the most private revealing details through journal entries emails and text.
